Wild cherry display case

Materials: Native wild cherry and spalted apple
Finish: Oil and wax outside, polish inside

In this cabinet the panels are made from spalted apple which has unusual purple and mauve colours in it. The apple panel inside the cabinet acts as a textured background without distracting from the objects displayed. The interior is accessible by means of doors on either side, which open using small spring latched buttons.
